Mondrian Ibiza has introduced NIKO Al Fresco, a new open-air Japanese dining experience perched on its Sun & Moon Terrace overlooking Cala Llonga Bay. Open from Wednesday to Sunday, the restaurant combines traditional Japanese techniques with fresh ingredients and refined presentation. With serene daytime views and an atmospheric evening ambiance, the terrace offers guests a blend of Mediterranean charm and Japanese minimalism. The hotel mentioned that NIKO Al Fresco showcases modern Japanese cuisine in one of the island’s most stunning locations. The experience is enhanced by the restaurant’s signature omakase offering, a chef-led tasting journey curated daily from the freshest ingredients. This immersive experience includes a range of seasonal dishes, from delicate sashimi to inventive hot plates.

Menu highlights include Soft-Shell Crab Bao with yellow chilli sauce and shiso leaf, Miso Glazed Black Cod, Wagyu Tataki with ponzu and crispy garlic, and Spicy Tuna Tartare with avocado and shichimi. Communal options like Crispy Duck Salad and Lobster Tempura also feature prominently. The Sun & Moon Terrace continues to host creative events including “Tunes & Tapas,” “Paint & Sip with Sarah Main,” and live performances during the Friday Sunset Ritual with Ibiza Global Radio.
