Mano Libera Brings Contemporary Italian Dining to Miami

Chef Marco Giugliano has launched Mano Libera, a contemporary Italian restaurant in Miami’s South Miami neighborhood. The name, meaning “free hand” in Italian, reflects Giugliano’s creative approach to blending traditional Italian flavors with modern techniques. The restaurant offers an intimate dining experience with 50 indoor seats and a patio for 30 guests. At the heart of the space is a unique hand-shaped chef’s table, where Giugliano prepares off-menu tasting experiences using the freshest ingredients available. With a background in renowned European kitchens, including Michelin-starred Quattro Passi and Taverna Estia, Giugliano brings a refined yet experimental style to his first solo venture.

Mano Libera’s menu balances authenticity and innovation, featuring high-quality ingredients such as buffalo mozzarella DOP and piennolo tomatoes. The restaurant offers both classic Italian dishes and unexpected combinations like eggplant bao buns with pecan crumble. Giugliano emphasizes sustainability and seasonal sourcing, ensuring a fresh and dynamic culinary experience. He aims to create a space where creativity and tradition come together, offering guests a taste of Italy through a modern lens. With a focus on quality and originality, Mano Libera presents an appealing concept for food enthusiasts and entrepreneurs interested in the evolving hospitality landscape.
