Hyatt Hotels Corporation, in partnership with the Scalesciani and David families, has announced the development of Casa Duhau, a new luxury hotel located in Mendoza, Argentina. The hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, will include 52 villas and suites and is scheduled to begin construction by the end of 2025, with an anticipated opening in late 2027. Situated within the nearly 1,000-acre Reserva Alto Agrelo development, Casa Duhau will feature extensive vineyards, a boutique winery called Bodega Agrelia, and a high-end equestrian facility known as Casa David – Wine & Horses. The hotel aims to offer guests privacy and comfort, including two signature restaurants, a spa, fitness center, event spaces, and wellness experiences inspired by the surrounding landscape of the Andes Mountains.
Cristiano Goncalves, VP, Development, South America & Caribbean, Hyatt, highlighted, “The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand invites guests to discover unforgettable places, opening the doors to wonders around the world, and Casa Duhau will offer just that for guests and World of Hyatt members.” The wider Reserva Alto Agrelo development will also include 116 residential lots with landscaped green spaces, lagoons, and private amenities. The architectural design will be led by BMA ARQS, with interior and landscape design by Martín Zanotti Studio and Fernando González, respectively. This project highlights Hyatt’s continued investment in distinctive destinations, offering guests a blend of luxury hospitality and scenic natural surroundings.
