Hilton and Calm Launch Exclusive Wellness Partnership to Enhance Guest Experience

Hilton, a hospitality company, and Calm, a consumer mental health firm, have announced an exclusive partnership aimed at enhancing guest wellness through innovative mindfulness and sleep solutions. In March, Hilton will integrate Calm’s award-winning content, including guided meditations, Sleep Stories, soundscapes, and mindfulness exercises, directly into its Connected Room Experience technology. Guests at more than 2,400 Hilton hotels worldwide will be able to access this content on their in-room TVs at no additional cost or subscription. This initiative responds to the rising demand for wellness in the hospitality sector, as the consumer wellness market reaches $1.8 trillion annually, with the U.S. market alone growing to $480 billion, according to the McKinsey Future of Wellness Report from November 2024. Sleep has emerged as a key concern, with 82% of U.S. consumers prioritizing wellness and identifying sleep as a critical unmet need.

Hilton’s Connected Room technology allows travelers to personalize their stay experience, from controlling room settings to streaming preferred content. This new integration with Calm builds on Hilton’s history of introducing new technology to improve guest comfort, including services like Digital Key and Confirmed Connecting Rooms. Calm, recognized as the top app for sleep and relaxation, will now extend its mental health and wellness resources to Hilton guests globally. Amanda Al-Masri, Vice President, Wellness, Hilton stated “Our partnership with Calm is an exciting step in redefining travel by providing guests with accessible tools to relax, reset, and feel invigorated throughout their stay. By weaving mindfulness into the stay experience, we’re empowering guests to recharge and make the most of why they came, so they leave feeling refreshed and ready for whatever comes next.”
