Google’s new AI-powered tool, Flight Deals, helps travelers book flights more easily while focusing on affordability. Rolling out in the U.S., Canada, and India, the tool is built into Google Flights and aims to help users find the most affordable options. Instead of manually searching for dates, times, or destinations, travelers can type natural language prompts describing their intentions, and the AI will generate tailored options. Google confirmed that the tool draws on real-time Google Flights data to show the latest fares from multiple airlines and booking operators. Flight Deals is aimed at flexible travelers who prioritize saving money on their trips.
The tool is launching in beta and will incorporate user feedback to refine its features. For instance, Google plans to add an option to exclude basic economy fares in the U.S. and Canada in future updates. Flight Deals can be accessed via a dedicated page or through the drop-down menu in Google Flights. By integrating AI into the booking process, Google is offering travelers a faster, more responsive way to find flights while maintaining flexibility and choice.
