Emerald Cruises has unveiled plans to expand its fleet with the introduction of three new luxury vessels in the coming years. The cruise line, known for its boutique yachts such as the Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara, will launch two additional ocean-going yachts, alongside the debut of Emerald Kaia in 2026. These new ships will each accommodate 128 guests and will feature spacious suites, open-air spaces, and a refined yet relaxed service style. Emerald Cruises aims to meet growing demand for intimate, design-forward yachts that provide the exclusivity of a private yacht with the amenities of a luxury resort.
The new yachts will offer itineraries across the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and the Seychelles. Additionally, Emerald Cruises will introduce its first river vessel on the Seine River in France, the Emerald Lumi, which will operate round trips from Paris starting in 2027. These expansions reflect the increasing interest in small-ship cruise vacations, with the line responding to customer requests for more destinations and seasons. Ken Muskat, President of Scenic Group, USA and LATAM, commented, “We’re seeing an incredible surge in demand for intimate, design-forward yachts, that are not only the newest and most modern of this size, but that offer the exclusivity of a private escape with the amenities of a luxury resort.”
