Cirque St. Armands Beachside has officially opened on Lido Key, replacing the former Holiday Inn across from Lido Beach on Benjamin Franklin Drive. The hotel is now accepting reservations and is part of the Opal Collection, which includes other local properties such as The Resort at Longboat Key Club, Lido Beach Resort, and Zota Beach Resort. The boutique hotel pays tribute to Sarasota’s circus history with its whimsical décor, featuring ostrich feather chandeliers, pinstripe columns, and historic circus posters.
The hotel offers 135 rooms and features multiple dining options, including its restaurant, Ringside, a lobby bar named Midway, and a poolside bar called Ringmaster. “Cirque St. Armands Beachside is where Sarasota’s rich circus heritage meets modern luxury,” said General Manager Melissa Kaplan. “This reimagined boutique hotel brings the magic of the Big Top to life with refined sophistication. Every detail celebrates the ‘Greatest Show on Earth’ while offering guests elevated hospitality, upscale accommodations, and stunning views. We’re thrilled to welcome visitors to this truly one-of-a-kind beachside escape.” The hotel aims to provide guests with an immersive experience that reflects the area’s cultural history while delivering high-quality hospitality.
