TOWN Restaurant, the latest project by acclaimed Chef and Food Writer Stevie Parle, has quickly become a standout dining address in London’s West End. Located on Drury Lane, the restaurant blends inventive design by North End Design with a menu rooted in British produce and international flavors. The interiors combine retro-futuristic elements, inspired by sources as varied as Pierre Cardin, Soviet-era architecture, and Kensington’s Rainbow Room, resulting in a vibrant yet refined atmosphere.
Speaking on the design brief, Creative Director Samuel Hosker noted, “The original client brief had the Apple logo from 1977, a Verner Panton interior, and Soviet-era train stations in it.” The result is a space that pairs striking aesthetics with an inviting ambience, anchored by its illuminated green kitchen pass that has already become a visual hallmark.
On the culinary front, Parle’s menu reflects his philosophy of flavor-led cooking that respects ingredients while embracing bold combinations. Dishes range from Cornish crab with Vesuvio tomatoes to Romney Marsh hogget with Chianti and anchovy butter, alongside vegetarian and seafood options. “It all starts with the ingredient,” said Parle. “The sophistication comes in restraint — being precise with technique, bold in concept, but always letting the produce speak.” With its mix of design innovation, seasonally inspired plates, and a commitment to sustainability, TOWN Restaurant has established itself as one of London’s most distinctive new dining experiences.
