Hilton has announced the signing of two new hotels, Hilton Cairo New Capital Downtown and Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Capital Downtown, in partnership with Panax Company, part of Selim Holding Group. Both properties are scheduled to open in 2028 in Cairo’s New Administrative Capital, a major urban development positioned as a center for business and culture. Located along the Green River and close to government ministries, the Central Business District, and the Presidential Palace, the hotels will offer convenient access to key institutions and Cairo International Airport. This move supports Hilton’s plan to triple its footprint in Egypt, where it currently operates 14 hotels with 27 more in development.
Hilton Cairo New Capital Downtown will feature 100 guest rooms and a variety of dining and meeting options, including a 1,000 square meter ballroom and seven multifunctional rooms. Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Capital Downtown will offer 180 rooms, a dining area, and a flexible meeting space. The two hotels will share facilities such as a spa, outdoor pool, and fitness center. Dr. Mohamed Selim, Owner and Chairman of Panax, noted, “We are delighted to partner with Hilton to bring world-class hospitality experiences to this fast-growing city. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our commitment to supporting Egypt's rapidly evolving tourism and business landscape, and we look forward to welcoming guests to the new properties in the near future.”
